Glen Cove High School, commonly referred to as GC, or GCHS, is the only public high school in the Glen Cove City School District. Located at 150 Dosoris Ln., Glen Cove, on the North Shore of Long Island, GCHS sits upon 50 acres (200,000 m²) of land. The current building has been in use since 1962, and prior to that year Robert M. Finley Middle School, the district's current middle school, was used as the high school.

As of the 2018–19 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,033 students and 67.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.3:1. There were 554 students (53.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 75 (7.3% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.
