Puranmal Lahoti Government Polytechnic Latur, also referred to as PLGPL, is one of Maharashtra's oldest institutes of technology, founded in 1956 and located along Ausa Road in Latur. It provides associate degree which is known as 'Diploma' in India. In India a Diploma in Engineering is a specific academic award usually awarded in technical or vocational courses e.g. Engineering, Pharmacy, Designing, etc.

Puranmal Lahoti Government Polytechnic Latur has a distinguished history in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering and Information Technology, and was also known for its outreach programs to encourage latest education in Latur elementary and high schools.
